About me 👋
Hi, I'm Kate Syuma, a Growth Advisor and former Head of Growth Design at Miro. My expertise lies at the intersection of Product-led growth and User Experience, where I assist companies in discovering growth opportunities and creating high-quality user experiences. I'm also a creator and co-host of the Growthmates Podcast, where we delve into growth stories with industry leaders from top tech companies such as Dropbox, Miro, Pinterest, Adobe, Atlassian, Amplitude, Canva, HubSpot, Intercom, and more.
In my previous role, I spent over 6 years at Miro, starting as the first designer for Growth and eventually advancing to Head of Growth Design. During my time at Miro, the company transformed from a startup to a unicorn, growing from 50 to nearly 2000 employees and undergoing hyper-growth. I built a team of over 10 Product designers and played a key role in shaping Miro's growth strategies across Acquisition, Retention, Monetization, and Community-led Growth.
Apart from that, I’m passionate about analytical psychology 🤓, yoga 🧘♀️, nutrition 🌿, visual art 🖼️, cooking 🧑🍳, and constantly exploring the world and myself 🌍
